Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN) is a not-for-profit company which aims to improve people’s experience and efficiency of the primary health care system to ensure the best possible health for people in the region. The HNECC PHN covers a region of approximately 130,000 square kilometres and is diverse in terms of its communities. It has a population of 1.2 million people who live in small remote rural villages, in regional towns and in densely populated urban centres.
In the role, you will play a critical role on the Board to ensure effective strategic planning and sound governance during a time of exciting and challenging organisational development.
To be successful in this role you will need to be accessible within the HNECC region to attend Board and Committee meetings and bring a combination of skills and experience that will complement that of the existing Board members.
Primary Care Clinical experience is an essential criterion, along with skills and experience in one or more of the following:
Clinical Governance / Quality & Safety; Community & Public Relations; NGO/NFP experience, Research & Best Practice, Skills as an Entrepreneur or Innovator; Success on other Boards.
