Ballina Players presents It's a Wonderful Life: A classic bittersweet comedy/drama (first presented in Movie form by Frank Capra in 1942) about George Bailey (James Stewart), the eternally-in-debt guiding force of a bank in the typical American small town of Bedford Falls. This play will be presented as a traditional Radio Play, in three Acts set in a studio with microphones and live sound effects and music. Murwillumbah Theatre Company presents The Foreigner: The Foreigner, by Larry Shue, opens on Friday, March 6 at Murwillumbah Civic Centre. This hilarious comedy won two Outer Critics Circle Awards as Best American Play and Best Off-Broadway Production on its release. For details visit

Fossil Rock: Arguably the most popular cover band in the Northern Rivers, the Fossil Rock has reunited for a three gig mini-tour. They will be playing today from 8pm at the Cherry Street Sports Club in Ballina.

Charity Cricket Match: The Lennox Hotel and The Eltham Hotel will be holding a Charity Cricket Match with al proceeds going toward the Shake It Up Foundation for Parkinson's' Disease. Tomorrow from 10am to 5pm on Williams Reserve, Lennox Head.
