Car bomb kills 70 army recruits
MORE than 70 people were killed and 98 wounded when an Islamic State group militant drove a car laden with explosives into an army recruiting centre in the Yemeni city of Aden on Monday.
The bombing was the deadliest jihadist attack on Aden in more than a year.
According to witnesses, some of the recruits were buried when a roof collapsed after the blast.
Officials said the attacker came through the gates when they were opened for a delivery vehicle. Aden is the temporary base of Yemen's internationally recognised government.
