Faingaa takes place of injured Brumbies star George Smith
COLBY Faingaa will have some huge shoes to fill when the Brumbies tackle the Blues in Auckland tomorrow.
Faingaa, who will join the Rebels at the end of the season, replaces the injured George Smith in the No.7 jersey after the champion flanker was ruled out for a month with a strained medial ligament.
Pat McCabe's knee injury also means former Wallabies winger Clyde Rathbone will make his first appearance in more than a month.
Coach Jake White said he was confident Faingaa would rise to the challenge.
"Colby has been on the radar as one of Australia's best young talents for a couple of years now and we have full faith in him to have a big game this weekend," White said.
