
DAY 5: What’s happening at Beef Week
TOMORROW is day five of Beef Week events and there is plenty on.
First up for the day are the cattle sales at the Regional Livestock Exchange in Dargaville Drive, Casino starting at 8am.
If you’ve never visited this economic heartbeat of the town, then it’s worth the experience and it’s certainly one for all the senses.
Busking continues on the streets of Casino as our local musicians battle it out in the Country IT Beef Week Busking Comp.

A special Beef Week lunch is being held at Windara on Sextonville Road starting at 11am.
Bookings are essential at 6662 3800 and costs $25 per person.
The Casino Golf Club will be hosting the reults of the The Great Window Dress Up competition starting at 5.30pm.
For art-lovers the Beef Week Art Exhibition has it’s opening night and presentation at the Casino Comunity and Cultural Centre starting at 6pm.
The Combined Schools Performing Arts (CASCAPA) are happening at the Casino RSM Club at 6.15pm.
Also at the RSM Club is the Beef Week Calcutta at 7.30pm.
Finally, if you want to get your dancing shoes on there is square dancing at the Anglican Auxiliary Hall starting at 7.30pm.
