Evans Head Aerodrome to be a hive of activity for the Fly In

THE Evans Head Aerodrome will turn into a hive of activity this weekend with pilots and planes gathering for the Great Eastern Fly In.

To enjoy and take advantage of all the activities that are scheduled for the two-day event, make sure you take the attached timeline with you. There will be displays by the RFS, vintage cars, classic boats, joy flights and markets. The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter could also be part of the event, dependent on operations.

11.30am: Handling display (T28 Trojan)

12.40pm: Aerobatic display (Wolf Pitts)

12.50pm: Handling display (P51 Mustang)

1.50pm: Sky Aces aerobatic display (Pitts and Yak 52)

2pm: Handling display (Avenger WW2 bomber)

2.10pm: Aerobatic display (Yak 52)

SUNDAY

9.50am: Banner towing (microlight)

10am: Model aircraft (jet, aerobatic and other)
