Evicted Jake leaves Big Brother love triangle behind
BRISBANE student Jake Richardson was evicted from the Big Brother house tonight.
He bid his fellow housemates farewell with a freestyle rap before joining host Sonia Kruger on stage at Dream World.
"The weirdest thing is people watch you and they're all here," he said after greeting the studio audience.
It seems being mates with last year's winner Tim Dormer didn't give university student the advantage he needed to stay on the reality show.
Richardson lived with Dormer in Bondi and worked with him on Nova Radio's Sydney promo team.
The 25-year-old was up for eviction against seven other housemates including Skye Wheatley, whose suspected popularity with the public was tested for the first time.
The bubbly Gold Coast blonde received the highest percentage of the public vote, saving her from eviction tonight and tomorrow.
Richardson's original team mate Gemma Kinghorn was the first housemate evicted this season.
He received just seven percent of the public vote, compared to Wheatley's 27 percent.
During his four weeks in the Big Brother house, Richardson was gifted $5000 by housemates Lawson Reeves and Aisha McKinnon.
He also created a love triangle by flirting with former team mates Lisa Clark and Wheatley.
"They're both amazing people," he told Kruger.
"Skye has this amazing spirit. Lisa is this really, really strong amazing woman; maybe I'm going to go for the older woman this time."
Richardson believes either Dave Hodis or Lisa Clark will get evicted tomorrow night.
He's the first evicted housemate to tip Canberra real estate agent Jason Roses as the show's frontrunner.
