Find out how your sitting federal members voted on issues

DID you know that your federal member Kevin Hogan voted very strongly for decreasing ABC and SBS funding, while his Labor counterpart on the Northern Rivers Justine Elliott voted very strongly for increasing fishing restrictions?

Thanks to the website theyvoteforyou.org a voter can now see what their sitting members are passionate about and what they may object to.

You only have to type in your postcode or the name of the federal member and the site lists what they voted for strongly, moderately or not at all.

As an example, while Mr Hogan voted strongly for an emissions reductions fund, Ms Elliott voted very strongly against it.

Records have started since 2006.

Let us know if you find any surprises.
