Later, Hunter Valley (5-89) defeated FNC Green (5-68).

Of the local teams at the LJ Hooker Under-13 carnival in Ballina, only Far North Coast came away with a win yesterday.

FNC bowled out Brisbane Metropolitan South-West for 82 and reached the target for the loss of only four wickets.

Oliver Cronin continued his great carnival, taking 4-2 from six overs and scoring 25 not out in the run chase. Caelan Maladay top-scored with 33.

Elsewhere, Brisbane North (9-196) defeated Ballina (64) while the Newcastle President's XI (7-120) sneaked past Ballina A (119).
