Foodies to showcase top local products

THREE  food and beverage businesses from the Northern Rivers are to showcase their products to a national and international food trade audience at Fine Food Australia in Sydney from September 5-8.

The Northern Rivers will be represented by Salumi Australia from Billinudgel, Hills of Byron from Dunoon, and Duck Creek Macadamias from Newrybar.

Member for Ballina Don Page said Fine Food Australia is the nation’s largest food and hospitality industry event.

“Participating in Fine Food Australia is a great opportunity for Billinudgel business Salumi Australia and Newrybar business Duck Creek Macadamias to showcase their products to important industry contacts,” Mr Page said.

Salumi Australia is an Australian-owned and operated boutique smallgoods manufacturing business. Salumi produces a variety of Italian fermented sausages, and cured and air-dried pork products such as guanciale, pancetta and lonza.
