Funding available through Our Neighbourhood Grants program

NORTH Coast community groups, charitable organisations and small businesses that are connecting people and creating positive change, are encouraged to apply for funding of up to $10,000 through the Our Neighbourhood Grants program.

Australia Post is encouraging those applicable to put in their application before submissions close on Thursday, April 2 at 5pm AWST.

Established in 2013, the Our Neighbourhood Grants program recognises the important role smaller charities and community groups play in bringing people together and helping local communities thrive.

For the first time, NSW North Coast small businesses who are driving employment, strengthening local connections and finding new and innovative ways to get things done can also apply for a grant.

Our Neighbourhood Community Grants will be awarded based on the following focus areas:

  • Digital Capability: projects that build digital skills for individuals and the wider community
  • Employment Pathways: projects that increase employment opportunities for marginalised Australians
  • Community Inclusion: projects that build community spirit and foster inclusion
  • Disaster Readiness: projects that help communities better prepare for natural disasters

Our Neighbourhood Small Business Grants will provide funding to eligible businesses that have fewer than 15 employees and can demonstrate growth and collaboration with local communities.

Our Neighbourhood Grants are now open and will close on Thursday, April 2 at 5pm AWST.
