Heart of the community celebrated

HALLS are the heart of our communities.

In the multi-arts project, If These Halls Could Talk, managed by Arts Northern Rivers, these halls and the role they play in our communities are celebrated.

If These Halls Could Talk invites local people to nominate their local hall for a chance to be involved in the region-wide arts project.

Whether done up or worn out, these little gems scattered around the Northern Rivers hold secrets of times gone by and memories of lives still being lived; from first kisses to kisses goodbye.

Seven halls from across the Northern Rivers will be selected to have a creative producer and a renowned creative team collaborate with their community to create a site-specific work inspired by the unique narrative of their hall.

Head to http://ifthesehallscouldtalk.com.au/ to find out more or to nominate a hall.
