Highlights from the 2015 NRL season so far
Highlights from the week that was, and also the 2015 season:
FITTING FINALE: A 16-point haul by Raiders skipper Jarrod Croker ensured he ended the season as the competition's leading point-scorer for 2015. His big day out included a sideline conversion after the full-time siren to send the game against the Eels into golden point. Croker ended the regular season on 236 points, 10 clear of Roosters pivot James Maloney.
SEMI-SEASON ENOUGH: How many tries Fijian strongman Semi Radradra could have scored had he not missed a swag of games with a knee injury is anyone's guess. As it was, he broke the Parramatta club record by crossing 24 times in 18 games, while his nearest rival, Bulldogs winger Curtis Rona, scored 22 tries in 23 games. Radrada also led the way with the most line breaks (25), again ahead of Rona (22).
TA-TA TOOVES: Post-match press conferences at Manly games just won't be the same without departing coach Geoff Toovey. After his team's win against the Sharks, Toovey produced one last gem, saying: "I'm not a real emotional person", before adding "... oh well, I am", after an outbreak of laughter from everyone in the room.
