How you can help save our local wildlife

THE NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service, also known as WIRES, is an all-volunteer organisation in the Northern Rivers.

They do fantastic work on a daily basis to rescue and nurse wildllife.

But they are in need of new members throughout the Northern Rivers to help continue this work.

WIRES offers a basic training course that will teach you how to safely rescue and provide emergency care for injured and orphaned wildlife.

If you would like to join WIRES and participate in their RICC workshop on September 18, please contact them as soon as possible.

Call their 24 hour hotline on 6628 1898 or see http://wiresnr.org/Helping.html.
