Know charolais from brangus? You could be Beef Week Queen

IT IS that time of year again where the young women of Casino have a chance to shine in the Northern Co-operative Meat Company 2014 Beef Week Queen competition.

Entrants represent a cattle breed of their choice and are judged in categories including general knowledge, breed knowledge, personality, style, ambition and goals.

As Beef Week Queen you will have different roles throughout the festival, meeting lots of people and having plenty of fun.

The Beef Week Queen receives a sash along with a trip for two to Sydney including airfares, accommodation and $500 cash.

"It's only seven weeks to go until our 33rd Beef Week and plans are well and truly under way," president Stuart George said.

"We'd encourage any young women who may be interested in becoming Beef Week Queen to give us a ring and have a chat."

If you would like to enter call into the Casino Beef Week office in Walker St, phone 6662 8181, email info@casinobeefweek.com.au or download the entry form.
