Labor to provide $250,000 to replace Minneys Creek Bridge
COUNTRY Labor Candidate for Lismore, Isaac Smith today announced that Labor in its first term, would provide a $250,000 matching grant to Kyogle Shire Council to replace Minneys Creek Bridge on Clarence Way near Tabulam.
Minneys Bridge currently has a temporary bypass constructed, but even the bypass is not able to be used by residents with 4WDs adding an extra 45mins to peoples trips.
"Labor will provide to replace Minneys bridge because residents of Kyogle deserve first class infrastructure."
"Kyogle Council has over 200 wooden bridges that need replacing, and if I am elected your local MP next Saturday fighting for funds to replace them will be one of my first priorities for Kyogle."
"The NSW and Federal Government need to provide assistance to get this done."
"I look forward to working with Mayor Danielle Mulholland to get the best outcome for the people of Kyogle."
