Love is in the air on The Bachelor, but not for Kiki

THE Bachelor's Kirralee 'Kiki' Morris says she knew she had entered the friend zone with Richie Strahan.

The Sydneysider was eliminated from Channel 10's reality dating show, which is entering its final weeks, tonight.

"It had been looming in the back of my mind for a while," Ms Morris told APN.

"I knew I hadn't formed as strong of a bond with Richie as the other girls.

"I had my walls up. I normally don't move very quickly in relationships. I went eight weeks once without kissing a guy."

Tonight's episode saw Nikki Gogan admit she was falling in love with Strahan. There are only six women left on the show, which is now in its fourth season.

Ms Morris, 28, said she enjoyed her time on the reality dating show despite nearly throwing in the towel.

"I was thinking about leaving at one point," she said. "But a little voice in my head said 'you've gone so far; what about all the other girls who would have loved to be in your position?'

"Viewers didn't get to see how good friends we were. Richie and I talked at every cocktail party."

Gossip websites were quick to focus on her former modelling career, during which she posed for Playboy and Zoo magazines, but Ms Morris was pleased she got to show her sporty and nurturing sides on the show.

"A lot of the girls weren't exactly prepared for the things that have come up and been written (about them)," she said.

"I've been in the public eye before and even I wasn't prepared for it.

"I know shouldn't have looked online before the show started but there were a few blogs saying nasty, judgemental things about me. They all changed their tune after the show started showing, though, so it was nice to see my true character did come out."

She believes Olena Khamula could be the dark horse out of the remaining six bachelorettes.

"It was always between Alex and Nikki because I knew there were some strong bonds with Richie from what he showed at the cocktail parties," she said.

"But now that I've been watching it at home and seeing things that happened on the single dates, I think Richie's really perplexed by Olena."

Ms Morris also revealed she isn't on as good of terms with the show's eliminated 'villain' Keira Maguire as Maguire made out in interviews.

"She messaged me while the show had been airing and said let's catch up," she said.

"I'm a very diplomatic person so I had coffee with her. But since then I read an article with her saying I was the nasty girl in the house and I was very difficult to live with. That got under my skin a bit. I want to forgive and forget, so once show finishes I hope we can bury the hatchet once and for all."

She said she formed the closest friendships with hairdresser Faith Williams and fellow eliminated bachelorette Noni Janur.

"Faith and I were very good friends. She and I went to the gym almost every morning together and we'd talk very openly and honestly," she said.

"She kept me a bit level headed like my sister does.

"And of course when Noni left I bawled my eyes out."

The Bachelor continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on Channel 10.
