UPDATE: Missing woman found safe and well

UPDATE 5PM:

POLICE have located a woman reported missing from the state's Far North Coast.

A 36-year-old woman was last seen leaving a home in Bray Park on Sunday.

She was reported missing when family could not get in contact with her.

Officers from Tweed/Byron Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, the woman was located safe and well in Bray Park.

Police want to thank the media and the public for their assistance.

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Far North Coast.

Officers from Tweed/Byron Police District were notified the next day and commenced an investigation.

Police and family hold concern for her welfare as she has not been seen or heard from since.

She is described as being of caucasian appearance, approximately 160cm tall, with a medium build and brown hair.

It's thought she may be travelling in a white Toyota Tarago with NSW registration plates CU29VV.
