More events to come from Beef Week
THE Beef Week action continues until Tuesday, May 31.
The highlights include; Year of Mercy Art Exhibition at St Mary’s Church in Casino, the Beef Week lunch today with Express Examiner editor Susanna Freymark as the guest speaker, the Rural Ladies High Tea on Thursday and the Bush Poets at the Cecil Hotel at 7pm, Thursday.
The Lip Sync Competition at the Commercial Hotel has been cancelled.
Tonight, head to the Anglican Auxiliary Hall in Casino for some lively square dancing.
Friday will see more than 25,000 people come to Casino for the free breakfast with the butchers . Is there any other town in Australia that does this?
On the same day the Beef Sausage Comp will be on.
The popular and unique Cow Pat Lotto is on Friday too.
Don’t miss the Dot Robson Craft Market all day Friday at the Civic Hall in Canterbury St.

On Saturday, you can see the more serious side of Beef Week.
The LED steer judging will transform Walker St into a cattleyard.
The rest of the day is packed with fun with the Show ‘n’ Shine Car Show, wood chainsaw art shows and the Street Parade.
Be sure not to exhaust yourselves because Mr Beef entrants will take to the stage at the Casino RSM at 1.45pm.
Sunday is a family fun day at the Big4 Casino Resort starting at 9am. The day includes a Fitness Challenge for all ages,
No doubt you will hear the Family Aviation Day before you see it at the Casino Aerodrome in East St.
To top off 10 days of Beef Week, the Super Sunday Raffle will be drawn at the Casino RSM at 3pm.
