New $5.9 million ambulance station for Pottsville announced

NSW Deputy Premier Troy Grant, Health Minister Jillian Skinner and Tweed MP Geoff Provest have announced a re-elected Baird Government will invest $5.9 million to build a new ambulance station for Pottsville.

Mr Grant said the Baird Government is committed to begin detailed planning and work on Pottsville ambulance station in the next term if re-elected on March 28.

"There is increasing demand for health services in Pottsville so it is vital we ensure local paramedics have the very best resources at their fingertips to deliver life-saving care," Mr Grant said.

"This new service will complement the impressive $3.7 million Pottsville HealthOne, which is delivering comprehensive care to patients from across this area."
