NORPA brings My Radio Heart back

Sydney's Urban Theatre Projects and Northern Rivers Performing Arts will bring back My Radio Heart to Lismore this August, in a surprise addition to NORPA's 2016 Season.

Inspired by the X Men characters and video games, My Radio Heart is a love story for the 21st century where a young man goes on a mission to piece together his past and discover his future.

My Radio Heart is a theatre piece premiered at Lismore City Hall in 2014 with a local cast of mixed abilities.

NORPA has confirmed that all members of the cast are coming back to this new production of the piece.

My Radio Heart premiered with audiences raving about the emotional and evocative world that local electronic music band Tralala Blip created on stage.

Re-designed for a national tour that includes the Institute of Modern Art in Brisbane and Melbourne's Malthouse Theatre, My Radio Heart blurs the boundaries between theatre, music concert and audio-visual experience.

My Radio Heart is a co-production between Urban Theatre Projects, NORPA and Performing Lines. Commissioned by NORPA.

At Lismore City Hall on Saturday, August 20, at 6pm. $25.
