Promoting Las Balsas has ‘limited’ benefit

A REPORT submitted to Ballina Shire Council's coming monthly meeting says tourism dollars spent promoting the Las Balsas raft housed in the Ballina Maritime Museum would be better spent elsewhere.

The report says the cost benefit of pursuing a niche market such as the historic raft has "an extremely limited upside".
