Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m)

Ef Troop remains favourite for the 2YO feature but has drifted slightly from $4 out to $4.20 after coming up with barrier 18. The Atkins-trained Jonker has been the big firmer, joining Sunlight on the second line of betting at $4.40 after $4.80 was available pre-draw. Meryl has been supported at longer odds, shortening from $17 into $15 after drawing nicely in barrier 5. There has also been a solid push for Sunlight's stablemate Crockett, firming from $51 into $26 with Jamie Kah piloting from a middle draw (10).

Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m)

Hot favourite Pierata has firmed slightly after drawing barrier 1, tightening from $2.50 into $2.45. Opinion is divided on whether the gate is good or bad for the Hickman galloper who can at times be a little scratchy out of the stalls. Sasso Corbaro, a $5 second-favourite pre-draw, is now at $6 after drawing out in 14. The Waller-trained Calculated has also drifted after coming up with a wide alley (15), getting out to $11 from $8.50. The positive movers have been Bjorn Baker's Goodfella ($11 into $9.50) and the Hawkes-trained Wild Heart ($11 into $9.50) after drawing barriers 6 and 3 respectively.
