THE man injured in a skydiving accident at Tyagarah airfield on Friday has died.
Police said the man, 45, was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital after the incident.
Late Saturday afternoon, he passed away.
A 29-year-old woman, who police have identified as Briony Alana Clarke, died at the scene.
Just after 3.30pm Friday, emergency services were called to the site near Byron Bay with reports of two skydivers whose parachutes failed to open.
While the investigation is ongoing, police said it appeared the duos' parachutes became entangled.
