Super Hornet to fly over local sites for Anzac Day
IN commemoration of the centenary of Anzac, a single Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft from Number 82 Wing at RAAF Base Amberley will conduct flypasts for Anzac Day commemorations in the region.
The Super Hornet will fly over these locations on Saturday, 25 April:
- Alstonville 10:25am
- Ballina 10:20am
- Byron Bay 10:20am
- Casino 10:35am
- Evans Head 10:25am
- Kyogle 10:35am
- Lismore 10:30am
- Mullumbimby 10:20am
- Murwillumbah 10:40am
- Urbenville 10:20am
- Woodburn 10:30am
The jet will fly at a height not below 500ft above built up areas.
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
