Time to register for the World’s Greatest Shave

IT'S time to get ready for the Leukaemia Foundation World's Greatest Shave.

Every day 34 people receive the devastating news that they have leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma, and they'll turn to the Leukaemia Foundation for help.

The World's Greatest Shave began back in 1998 and is now one of Australia's biggest fundraising events.

People sign up to get sponsored to shave, colour or wax their hair to help people with blood cancer.

Money raised will give families the emotional and practical support they need, and fund urgent research to save lives.

In 2016, the Leukaemia Foundation estimates that more than 150,000 people from all walks of life will shave or colour their hair.

Some have a personal connection to blood cancer while others simply take part to challenge themselves.

This year it's on from March 10-13.
