Tyrrells 'surprised' at Schapelle Corby's bag
WILLIAM Tyrrell's family were surprised that Schapelle Corby promoted the missing toddler to the world's media during her chaotic departure from Bali.
Corby emerged from her Kuta home with an image of the missing boy prominently displayed on her handbag, which she used to shield her face from the hundreds of cameras and journalists.
The photograph used was of William in a Spider-Man outfit, aged 3 - the same outfit he was wearing when he was abducted in 2014.
In a statement released only to The Sunday Telegraph, William's family said they had no prior knowledge that his photograph would be used by Corby but they were pleased about the intention.
"We appreciate Schapelle Corby's concern about William's disappearance and using this media opportunity to increase awareness that William is still missing," Where's William? campaign director Clare Collins said.
