Born in Molfetta, Pr. Bari, Italy on January 4, 1938. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Adelaide, S.A. on February 25, 2021. Aged 83 years. Dearly beloved husband of Benedetta. Loving father and father–in-law of Sofia and Frank, Damiana and Marta (both deceased), Rino and Sam, Roberto and Trudi. Treasured nonno of Raquel, Darien, Cassandra and Viana. Loving son of Saverio and Serafina Amato (both deceased). Loving son-in-law of Saverio and Damiana Nappi (both deceased). Loving brother of Marta (deceased), Ippolita and Salvatore. Dearly loved by all his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Cherished uncle and great uncle of all his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Dearly loved by all his family and friends in Italy and Australia. Dear Frank, Words cannot express what I am feeling right now. We had a wonderful 62 years together and raised three beautiful children. You were loving, caring, gentle, kind and generous – most of all you adored me. You were my first love and I thank God for giving me such a wonderful husband. I will always love you, your treasured wife, Beba. Dad, your smile would lift my heart with joy. There wasn’t a thing you wouldn’t do for me and my family – and it meant the world to us. I will love you and miss you and hold you in my heart forever. Rest now, your suffering is over, your loving daughter, Finellina (Sofia). Dear Dad, saying goodbye is heartbreaking and words can’t express my sadness. Your suffering has ended and that is everything to me. I will always remember your kindness, warmth and generosity. Rest in peace knowing you’ll never be forgotten, your loving son, Rino. Dad, I miss you so much already but am thankful you are no longer suffering and passed peacefully surrounded by your loved ones. I love you so much and will be forever thankful for everything you have done for my family, especially the unconditional love you gave us. Rest in peace now, you will live on inside our hearts.
